How online tutoring works

From the first message to regular progress reports.

  1. 1

    Get in touch

Send a message or request an assessment. We agree on goals, schedule and format (individual or group).

  2. 2

    Create accounts

The student registers (a parent or guardian registers too, and must give consent for students under 13). The professor enrolls the student in a course.

  3. 3

    Diagnostic assessment

A short online assessment shows strengths and gaps by topic.

  4. 4

    Live lessons

Lessons run over video. The join link appears on the student's dashboard and in reminder emails.

  5. 5

    Homework

Assignments are posted in the portal. Students type answers or upload photos/PDFs of handwritten work.

  6. 6

    Feedback and grades

Work is marked on the page, with written feedback and a score. Some assignments allow a revised resubmission.

  7. 7

    Progress reports

Students and parents see grades, attendance and topic accuracy, and receive periodic progress reports.
